11-Year-old Boy Arrested Following A Car Crash In Liberty County (Liberty County, GA)

On Wednesday morning, authorities were led on a high-speed chase in Liberty County by an 11-year-old in a Dodge Ram pickup truck.

The 11-year-old boy drove off to West Oglethorpe Highway before hitting an ATM, causing minor damage. 

The boy was later spotted on the highway. He sped and hit an SUV driven by a 16-year-old girl near Wallace Martin Drive and East Oglethorpe. 

The pursuit continued until the boy missed a road and stopped in a muddy area.

The pickup truck had minor damages.

The boy was charged with theft by receiving stolen property, fleeing, no seatbelt, and no license. He was released to his mom and was not taken to the Youth Detention Center because of his age. 

No other injuries were reported following the crash.
