1 Woman Killed In A Pedestrian Crash In Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM)

A tragic incident unfolded in Albuquerque as a woman crossing a parking lot in a wheelchair was fatally hit on Tuesday. The Albuquerque Police Department responded to the crash at Love’s Gas Station on Sixth Street shortly before 1 p.m.

Reports indicate that a blue Dodge truck traveling north on Sixth Street turned left into the parking lot, colliding with the woman who was crossing north in her wheelchair. The impact caused her to fall out of the wheelchair. Despite being taken to the hospital, the woman succumbed to her injuries.

Authorities stated that there were no indications of intoxication or speeding involved in the collision. The identity of the woman has not been disclosed at this time. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision.
