The California Highway Patrol reported a pedestrian accident in Pacheco on February 6. The crash occurred roughly at 2:30 p.m. on Marsh Drive, near Mobile Drive, west of Buchanan Field Airport.
According to the authorities, a woman walking on the road was struck by a Dodge pickup truck. The victim was fatally injured and pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased remains undisclosed. The driver of the pickup was not injured and reportedly remained cooperative with the authorities.
The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. No further information is available at the moment.
