According to the officials, a multi-vehicle crash occurred in Houston. 

The officials reported that three vehicles were involved in the crash. 

One woman was declared dead at the scene by the Firefighters with the Houston Fire Department. 

The officials did not release information regarding the identity of the deceased victim. 

It is unclear whether additional casualties occurred at the time of the crash. 

Officials have reported that all the main lanes on Gulf Freeway northbound near Howard Drive are shut for further investigation. 

The fatal accident is being investigated at the moment by the Houston Police Department.
