According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a motor vehicle accident occurred in San Benito at around 4 p.m. The crash happened at E. Business 77 near PFC Juan Garza Road on Wednesday.
According to the investigators, an unknown woman and a white Chrysler Pacifica were involved in the collision. The driver of the Chrysler traveling westbound lost control of her vehicle and crashed into a drainage ditch.
An unknown woman suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The San Benito Police Department did not reveal the identity and the name of the unknown deceased person.
The accident is still being investigated by the authorities. No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided by the Deputies.
