1 Woman Killed In A Hit-And-Run Crash In Fort Worth (Fort Worth, TX)

During Monday’s morning rush hour, tragedy struck on a Fort Worth highway as a woman was discovered dead in a car versus pedestrian hit-and-run incident. The incident occurred just after 8 a.m. on westbound I-30, near West Loop 820. Police swiftly responded to the scene, where they found the woman’s body.

TxDOT cameras captured the aftermath, depicting traffic reduced to one lane as authorities investigated the grim scene. The victim’s identity has not been released, and details surrounding the circumstances of the collision remain under investigation.

The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated at this time. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
