According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a hit-and-run accident occurred in San Antonio on Tuesday. The crash happened on Jones Maltsberger Road.
According to the investigators, an unknown Jeep and an unknown woman were involved in the collision. The officials stated that the driver of the Jeep traveling southbound struck the woman and her dog.
The unknown woman suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead following the collision. The San Antonio Police Department did not reveal the identity and the name of the unknown deceased person.
According to the Police, it is unclear what caused the crash and if drugs or alcohol were a factor involved. Additional information regarding the fatal crash is not available currently.
