According to the Vancouver Police Department, a fatal crash was reported in Vancouver. Officials confirmed that one person died due to the motor vehicle accident.
The exact location of the collision is yet to be released. A driver was speeding and struck a median curb as a result. Subsequently, the driver crashed through a fence into a house.
A woman and a family pet who were inside the house were pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck. The driver of the vehicle was hospitalized sustaining injuries.
Other insights pertaining to the accident remain unknown. The identity of the deceased victim is not known at this time.
The crash continues to be investigated by the VPD. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
