According to the California Highway Patrol, a fatal crash was reported on Monday afternoon in Clovis. Officials confirmed that one woman died and two others were injured due to the motor vehicle accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred at Minnewawa and International Avenues East of Clovis Community College. A black Honda Sedan was going northbound when it suddenly entered the intersection.
A Mercedes blew the stop sign and struck the Honda on the driver’s side. This resulted in both vehicles being pushed into an open field.
The driver of the Honda was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck. The children in the Honda were hospitalized sustaining moderate injuries.
The crash continues to be investigated by the CHP.
