According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a hit-and-run accident occurred in Houston on Wednesday. 

The crash happened at the 6500 block of W. 43rd Street at around 9:15 p.m. 

According to the reports, a four-door black sedan and an unknown woman were involved in the collision. 

The officials stated that the woman had just gotten off a bus and ran across the street, and was hit by a sedan. 

The unknown woman suffered significant injuries and was rushed to the hospital for treatment. 

The Houston Police Department did not reveal the identity and the name of the unknown injured woman. 

The accident is still being investigated.
