According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a multi-vehicle accident occurred in Kilgore on Wednesday.
The crash happened on Hwy 31 near Kilgore’s Country Tavern Restaurant.
According to the officials, a small SUV and a heavy-duty truck were involved in the collision.
According to the witness, the driver of the SUV was conscious and speaking to them but suffered significant injuries.
A woman suffered significant injuries and was airlifted to an area hospital for treatment.
The identity of the woman was not revealed by the Sabine firefighters.
Some portions of the Hwy 31 near Kilgore’s Country Tavern Restaurant are blocked for further investigation.
No additional information regarding the crash was provided by the Police.
