According to the California Highway Patrol, a multi-vehicle accident occurred in Palmdale on Sunday. The crash happened on Palmdale Boulevard at 80th Street East at around 6:36 p.m.
According to the investigators, a kickscooter and a white Toyota Rav4 were involved in the collision. The officials stated that the driver of the Toyota traveling westbound struck a kick scooter in the middle of the lane.
The kick scooter driver was identified as the driver who suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Palmdale Police Department did not reveal the identity and the name of the unknown deceased person.
