Michigan State Police responded to a motorcycle crash that killed a Redford Township woman. The crash happened on I-96 and Evergreen road around 10:10 p.m Wednesday.
The unidentified woman crashed her motorcycle while traveling on Westbound I-96.
The police found her body lying on the ground.
An initial investigation into the crash reports that a 47-year-old driver attempted to navigate a curve rapidly. The driver lost control of the vehicle causing the motorcycle to crash into the median wall, causing her to die.
The family of the driver has been notified by the police.
An investigation is being conducted by the Michigan State Police into the crash.
