1 Police Officer Injured In A Motor-Vehicle Crash In Garden Grove (Garden Grove, CA)

According to the California Highway Patrol, a motor-vehicle crash was reported on Sunday in Garden Grove.

Officials confirmed that one police officer was injured due to the accident.

Authorities stated that the collision occurred near Euclid Street of the 22 Freeway.

A woman slammed her SUV into a California Highway Patrol car.

An officer inside the patrol car was injured due to the wreck.

The officer was immediately transported to a local hospital with moderate injuries.

The woman who caused the wreck was identified as 36-year-old Krystal Amy Ramos.

Driving under influence is considered as a major factor that led to the collision.

The crash remains under investigation by the CHP.
