The California Highway Patrol reported a pedestrian accident that killed a person in Bellflower on Tuesday.

At around 5:55 a.m., a pedestrian accident took place near Artesia 91 Freeway near Clark Avenue. As a result of the accident, the person was struck and killed by a vehicle. The number of vehicles involved in the accident is not known. 

The identity of the pedestrian is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
