On Tuesday, the California Highway Patrol reported a multi-vehicle crash that killed a motorcyclist in Oceanside.
At approximately 11.00 p.m., a 29-year-old motorcyclist was driving a Harley Davidson on Westbound State Route 78. Suddenly, a Mitsubishi Outlander driven by a 69-year-old man rammed into the motorcycle.
The motorcyclist was initially taken to the hospital with critical injuries but later he was pronounced dead. The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed.
It is unknown whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
