The Grand Prairie Police Department reported a motor vehicle accident occurred on the 3500 block of E IH‐30 on Sunday. The officials confirmed that one person was killed in the accident. According to the officials, the deceased victim was not identified.
At around 1:55 a.m., a Hyundai passenger car was travelling westbound on IH‐30 when it collided with the rear end of a car-haulier trailer that was also travelling in the same direction. The driver of the Hyundai passenger car was pronounced dead at the scene. Fortunately, no other injuries were reported.
The events leading to the collision are being investigated. The authorities are still investigating the cause of the fatal crash. It is unknown whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision.
