1 Person Was Killed In A Motor Vehicle Crash In Corona (Corona, CA)

A person who escaped the traffic collision on July 27 was eventually involved in a motor vehicle crash and was killed in Corona, said the Corona police.

Riverside County Coroner’s Office on July 31, has not disclosed any details regarding the victim aside from him being a man. This man escaped the traffic collision at the intersection of River Road and Lincoln Avenue but ended up slamming into yellow metal barricades near the construction zone at the intersection of Rincon Street and N. Smith Street. 

The vehicle caught fire immediately and the driver was killed at the scene, said a witness.

The identity of the victim is not revealed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. 

The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
