The California Highway Patrol reported a motor vehicle accident that killed a person on the San Mateo Highway bridge on Sunday.
Roughly at 3:00 a.m., on Sunday a black vehicle driving southbound on I-280 made a left turn for no particular reason. The vehicle then swerved off the road and crashed into a concrete pillar.
Later, another vehicle came crashing into this black vehicle which was already disabled. The driver of the first vehicle was killed right away. The identity of the driver is not yet revealed.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
