The Manor Police Department reported a motor vehicle accident on Friday. The officials confirmed that one person died in the accident. According to the officials, the deceased victim was not identified.
Around 1:20 a.m., the crash happened in the northbound lane near the intersection with Highway 290, when the two vehicles were involved in the crash. One fell down a steep embankment, the other two were ejected from their car.
Medics transported both to Dell Seton Medical Center, one with serious, potentially life-threatening injuries and the other with serious injuries. For further investigation, the northbound and southbound lanes of SH 130 around FM 973 are closed.
The events leading to the collision are not yet known. The authorities are still investigating the cause of the fatal crash. It is unknown whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision.
