The Texas Department Of Public Safety reported a motor vehicle accident on Monday. The officials confirmed that one person died in the accident. According to the officials, the deceased victim was not identified.
Around 1:20 a.m. the crash happened at the I-14 just inside the Coryell County line from Bell County. A 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 truck was going east on I-14 when for an unknown reason the driver failed to control the truck in a single lane and left the roadway. The truck traveled down an embankment and rolled over.
The events leading to the collision are not yet known. The authorities are still investigating the cause of the fatal crash. It is unknown whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision.
