The Corpus Christi Police Department reported a motor vehicle accident on Wednesday. The officials confirmed that one person died in the accident. According to the officials, the deceased victim was not identified.
Around Wednesday, the crash happened on the 7400 block of Hwy 361 near the Mayan Princess Condominiums. Two cars were involved, with one travelling northbound and the other going southbound before colliding. Two people from each vehicle were taken to the hospital, reportedly with non-life-threatening injuries.
The events leading to the collision are not yet known. The authorities are still investigating the cause of the fatal crash. It is unknown whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision.
