1 Person Was Killed In A Hit-And-Run Accident In North Highlands (North Highlands, CA)

The California Highway Patrol stated that a person was killed in a hit-and-run accident in North Highlands on Wednesday. 

On Wednesday, the fatal crash occurred on Watt and Orange Avenues. A black 2007 Lexus GS350, struck a pedestrian. 

The pedestrian was pronounced dead even after being taken to hospital by the Sacramento Metro Fire crew, said the officials. Following the crash, the vehicle escaped the scene. 

The identity of the pedestrian is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at this time.
