Authorities reported a pedestrian accident in Old Town Victorville, which prompted the closure of a section of D Street on Thursday night. The Victorville Police Department swiftly responded to the incident, which occurred shortly after 9 p.m. on September 14, 2023, between Third Avenue and Fifth Avenue.
Upon arrival at the scene, first responders discovered a male pedestrian who had lost his life in the westbound lanes of D Street. A white Honda was found on the right shoulder, approximately 50 feet ahead.
The male driver cooperated fully with authorities and was able to leave the scene around 10:30 p.m. following the conclusion of the investigation.
