Washington State Patrol reported a tragic collision that occurred in the City of Pacific, as a pedestrian was struck and killed by a truck at an intersection. The pedestrian accident unfolded at the intersection of Ellingson Road and Frontage Road North, with officials responding to the scene just before 11 a.m. on Sunday.
Both Pacific and Algona police were dispatched to the location, and the Valley Regional Fire Authority also provided assistance with medical care. Upon arrival, they discovered that the victim was fatally injured and was pronounced dead.
In response to the incident, Pacific police have announced that they are collaborating with the Washington State Patrol to conduct a more comprehensive investigation. As of now, no further details regarding the circumstances of the fatal accident or the identity of the victim involved have been provided.
