Houston authorities state that a hit and run incident took place in the 9800 block of Airline Dr. near Aldine Mail Rte.
Deputies responding to the scene found the corpse of a man in the street.
The officials believe the man was crossing the street when he was hit by a car and added that the driver fled after. Officials state that there were no witnesses to the crash.
No other details have been disclosed yet – The deceased has not been identified thus far and the investigation remains ongoing.
