According to the San Jose Police Department, a pedestrian crash that took place in San Jose claimed the life of a man on Sunday.
Approximately at 7:40 p.m., a black 2021 Mitsubishi Mirage traveling near the intersection of Saratoga Avenue and Interstate 280, struck a man who was crossing the road. The man was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
