1 Person Killed In A Pedestrian Crash In Atlanta (Atlanta, GA)

According to the Atlanta Police Department, a pedestrian crash that took place in Atlanta killed a woman on Saturday.

Roughly at 2:00 a.m., a woman walking on I-75/85, Pine Street, was struck by a vehicle that was traveling northbound. The woman was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated in the investigation.

The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
