According to the officers, a pedestrian crash that occurred in Adelanto claimed the life of a man on Saturday
Approximately at 4:45 a.m., a semi-truck traveling on Highway 395, for unknown reasons struck a man who was walking on the same road. The pedestrian was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the authorities.
The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
