According to the Visalia Police Department, a person was killed in a pedestrian accident in Visalia on Monday. The accident occurred roughly at 8:20 p.m., near the intersection of Dinuba Boulevard and Prospect Street.
According to the officials, a white Chevrolet truck that was travelling northbound hit a pedestrian. The pedestrian was critically injured and was immediately transported to the hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries and was declared dead.
The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
