A tragic incident occurred in eastern Travis County on Saturday morning when a pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle. The pedestrian accident unfolded around 11 a.m. on FM 969 near Blue Bluff Road.
Upon arrival, Austin-Travis County EMS (ATCEMS) medics pronounced the victim dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased individual has not been disclosed. The circumstances leading to the collision remain under investigation.
