1 Person Killed In A Pedestrian Accident In Santa Ana (Santa Ana, CA)

The Santa Ana Police Department reported a pedestrian accident on Monday. The accident occurred at the 2700 block of North Main Street at around 5:34 a.m. 

According to the officials, a pedestrian was crossing Main Street when they were hit by a vehicle traveling north. The car fled the scene before the police could arrive. 

The pedestrian incurred fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the victim is not yet known at this time. 

The officials have released a description of the suspect vehicle – a white 2016-2018 Kia Optima four-door sedan. There have been no details given regarding the driver. 

The fatal crash is still being investigated. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
