According to the Santa Ana Police Department, a person was killed in a pedestrian accident in Santa Ana on Saturday. At around 4:30 a.m., a vehicle that was traveling on Orange Street, Edinger Avenue, struck a pedestrian.
The pedestrian was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the
vehicle remained at the location and cooperated in the investigation. The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
