According to the San Jose Police Department, a woman was killed in a pedestrian accident in San Jose on Monday. The accident occurred at Skyway Drive and Monterey Road at around 1:54 a.m.
According to the officials, a vehicle and a woman were involved in a collision. A 2005 GMC SUV traveling southbound struck a woman. The woman was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
