The San Francisco Police Department reported a pedestrian accident that killed a person in San Francisco on Monday. The accident occurred at 2:50 p.m. on the 1700 block of Folsom Street.

According to the officials, a vehicle and a man were involved in a collision. The vehicle struck the man but the events leading up to the crash are not entirely clear at this time. The man was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The identity of the victim is not yet known at this time. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
