1 Person Killed In A Pedestrian Accident In San Diego (San Diego, CA)

The San Diego Police Department reported a pedestrian accident on Saturday. The accident occurred in the 700 block of Camino de la Reina at around 1:50 a.m. in the Mission Valley East neighbourhood. 

According to the officials, a man was crossing the street when he was hit by a 2003 Chevrolet Spark. The pedestrian had been pushing a shopping cart at the time and was not at a marked crosswalk. 

The pedestrian was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased victim is not yet known at this time. 

The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated by the authorities. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
