Wurzbach Parkway is closed to traffic following a fatal pedestrian accident. The accident occurred at Wurzbach Parkway around West Avenue. The time of the accident is not yet known.
According to the San Antonio Fire Department Public Information Officer Joe Arrington, a pedestrian was walking in a dark section of the road when he was hit by a vehicle. The man was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are currently investigating the incident and working to clear the scene. The details surrounding the pedestrian accident, including the identity of the victim and the circumstances leading to the collision, are part of the ongoing investigation.
The closure of Wurzbach Parkway is causing traffic disruptions in the area, and commuters are advised to seek alternative routes until the fatal crash is cleared.
