The Round Rock Police Department reported a pedestrian accident that occurred on Saturday and confirmed that one person died. The deceased victim has not been identified at this time.
Around 3 a.m. the crash happened in the northbound direction of I-35 near the Old Settlers Blvd. exit. A man and a vehicle were involved in a collision. The events leading up to it are not entirely clear at this time. The man was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The authorities are still investigating the cause of the fatal crash. It remains uncertain whether alcohol or drugs were contributing factors in the collision.
