The California Highway Patrol reported a pedestrian accident that claimed the life of a person in Riverside County on Wednesday.
Approximately at 12:50 p.m., a person was struck by a gray Toyota Camry while walking on the road. The pedestrian was found to be critically injured and was immediately transported to the hospital. However, the pedestrian succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced dead.
The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
