According to the Los Angeles Police Department, a man was killed in a pedestrian accident when he was struck by multiple vehicles in Pacoima on Saturday. The accident occurred roughly at 11:45 p.m.
A man was crossing the road on San Fernando Road, south of Montague Street. He was first struck by a truck and then followed by a light-colored SUV and a dark-colored SUV. As a result of being struck by three vehicles, the man was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. None of the vehicles that struck the man remained at the scene.
The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated.
