According to the Madera Police Department, a pedestrian accident that took place in Madera killed a man on Sunday. 

At around 7:00 p.m., near the 700 block of South G Street, a vehicle struck a pedestrian and left him seriously injured. Even after several life-saving measures, the pedestrian was pronounced dead. The driver of the vehicle that struck him stayed at the location and cooperated in the investigation. 

The identity of the pedestrian is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
