In a tragic pedestrian accident, a pedestrian lost their life in a fatal crash at the intersection of 98th Street and Slide Road, as confirmed by the Lubbock Police Department.
Due to this unfortunate event, 98th Street is temporarily closed for all eastbound traffic, spanning from Slide Road to Vicksburg Avenue. The distressing call reporting the incident was received at 8:02 p.m.
