The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department reported a pedestrian accident in Jurupa Valley on Saturday. The accident occurred on Mission Boulevard, just east of Wineville Road at around 3 a.m.
According to the officials, a pedestrian and a vehicle were involved in a collision. The vehicle was headed east on Mission Boulevard at the same time as a pedestrian who was stepping on the road. The two crashed.
The pedestrian was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased victim is not yet known at this time.
The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated by the authorities. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. There are no other details available at this time.
