The Harris County Sheriff’s Office reported a pedestrian accident in the 8200 block of Wade Road on December 24. The accident was reported around 8 p.m. near Baytown.

According to officials, a man was walking down the street carrying presents when he was hit by a woman who was driving. The woman reportedly stayed on the scene to help the officials out. 

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the victim is not yet known at this time. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
