1 Person Killed In A Pedestrian Accident In Harris County (Harris County, TX)

A tragic pedestrian accident unfolded late Thursday night in northwest Harris County, resulting in the death of a teenager who was hit by two vehicles. According to Harris County sheriff’s deputies, the driver of a GMC pickup truck struck the teenage girl as she walked into the roadway from the median on Greenhouse Road near Cardinal Lake. 

Subsequently, the driver of a Nissan Sentra also struck the girl as she lay on the roadway. Investigators noted that the area was poorly lit and the victim was not in a crosswalk. Despite being transported to an area hospital, she was pronounced dead.

Both drivers remained at the scene and showed no signs of intoxication. The victim, believed to be between 15 and 18 years old, has not been identified. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division is conducting an investigation into the deadly fatal crash.
