According to the Garden Grove Police Department, a deadly pedestrian accident occurred that killed a woman who was walking on Garden Grove Boulevard on Monday.
On Monday roughly at 7:25 a.m., a Lexus RX300 hit a woman who was walking in the 8700 block of Garden Grove Boulevard. The woman was transported to the hospital where she later succumbed to the injuries and was pronounced dead.
The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. Officials said that alcohol or drugs did not play a role in the collision. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
