1 Person Killed In A Pedestrian Accident In Fritch (Fritch, TX)

The Fritch Police Department reported a pedestrian accident on Monday night. The accident occurred in the 200 block of West Broadway (Highway 136) at around 8:30 p.m. 

According to the officials, a woman and a Chevrolet were involved in a collision. The SUV was headed east on Broadway in the left lane when it hit the woman who had stepped into the path of the vehicle. 

The woman was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the woman has not been disclosed pending the notification of her next of kin. The officials have not disclosed any details regarding the driver of the vehicle involved. 

The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated at this time. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision.
