The Washington State Patrol reported a pedestrian crash in Fife early Monday morning. The accident happened on the freeway at around 2:40 a.m.
The collision involved a pedestrian. A man lying on the motorway at 54th Avenue East began coming in at around 2:40 a.m. The man had been struck by several cars when the troopers arrived.
The person was pronounced dead at the scene. The name and identity of the victim have not been made public yet.
One of the drivers of the cars that struck the man stopped and helped the authorities.
At that exit, the southbound lanes were shut down but opened up around 7:15 a.m. Additional details regarding the fatal crash are not available currently.
