1 Person Killed In A Pedestrian Accident In Contra Costa County (Contra Costa County, CA)

The California Highway Patrol reported a pedestrian accident in Pacheco on February 6. The crash occurred around 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of Marsh Drive and Sally Ride Drive, situated east of Interstate 680.

According to the authorities, a Dodge pickup truck collided with a pedestrian. The victim was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. CHP – Contra Costa County confirmed that the driver of the truck remained at the scene following the crash. As of now, the identity of the victim has not been disclosed.

Limited details are available at this time, and the investigation into the fatal crash is ongoing. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident. There are no other details available at this time.
