The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office reported a pedestrian accident on Wednesday night. The accident occurred at Prosperity Avenue Southwest and Second Street Southwest.
According to the officials, a train and a pedestrian were involved in a collision. The events leading up to the collision are not entirely clear at this time.
The pedestrian was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased victim is not yet known at this time.
